| THANKFUL....
So last week a friend told me about a commercial audition where they needed "cute" bgirls..so i made the contacts and made the audition on Friday in Glendora. I had no idea what to expect or who i'd see there, to my surprise when i rolled up to the parking lot Peppa was standing outside of her car, then the bgirl from So you think u can dance, Sara, she was there too. There were 2 other girls i've never seen waiting around too. I was expecting more people. Stretched then this guy explained how we're auditioning for a National commercial for Punkrose footwear, they work with Sketchers and supposedly have a lot of money. They told us they are looking for 2 bgirls who got the moves and look cute doin the moves. Pay is $1800- $2500 depending on what role you get and taping is one day. Storyline goes something like this, takes place outside, a bunch of different people from cholas to punk ppl to gangters etc, two girls start battling, one girl knocks the other girl out and her shoes go flying off, then the girl who knocked the girl out catches the flying shoes and puts then around her neck and walks out looking lik the shit ...haha sounds pretty cool.
So i stretch and end ed up going in 2nd to last, there were about 6 people watching my audition, they played some mainstream song and i just went at it...i didn't do my best moves, but i did do good moves, did my freezes for them and the producer guy said "you 're cute it's hot we like you, haven't seen anyone like you" so that made me feel good, they told me to wait outside. Couple minutes later in front of all the other girls, the producer says, ok we're going to audiion all of you again, expect for you ( and he points to me), and says " your in! come in" it happened so fast, i was like what the hell? i thought they would let us know if we made it a couple days later through a phone call or something, they told me they like my look and moves, and the producer gave me his contact and i shook hands with them all and thanked them! It was surreal, this is a national commercial that will be aired on MTV, BET and FUSE tv! i really needed the money. so i left while the other girls stayed behind, i didn't know what to say to them but Goodluck, Sara told me Congrats.....later on i found out the other bgirl is gonna be Sara, so that's dope =D We got to rehearse for the commercial thrusday then the commercial shoot takes place in Melrose on Tuesday. Can't wait...from LA times to Nike commerical to now a National Commercial i am truly BLESSED...and to think i'm doing this all without an agent =D i really needed the money and now my plans to make a trip with my love for our 3 year anniversary to Maui will happen!  things really do work themselves out when u least expect it....

| HALLOWEEN was GREAT!
taught my DARE kids at the elementary on Friday and boy were they HYPER from all the candy, thank goodness Kameko came to help me because i was already sweating my ass off tryin to teach them 6 steps and CC while tryin to keep their attention lol
afterwards headed to the Holiday Inn near LAX where my sis got a hotel for halloween, Got ready together, she was strawberry shortcake and i was Chung Li from streetfighters, Danga picked me up where we all meet up at Mari's apt to pre-party, went out to West Hollywood and we were gonna party but we got too wasted we never made it to the other parties lol
Highlights from Halloween
- being buzzed at taking pictures in Mari's apt
-waiting for a CAB forever and drinking and breaking in the lobby in a dress
- popping a squat behind a bush with Danga and right when we finished a Police officer shined a light on us and said " hey are u peein?" then my friend goes " no way! we're lost" HAHA
- people at Weho yelling " chung li!! take a picture with me!"
- bacon wrapped hot dogs!
-dancing in the street
-trying to meet up with people but never finding them
-walking forever back to Mikee's car
- Eddie laying on his back on the sidewalk in his boxer's
- Danga feeding me french fries
-Eddie cussing out Mari's coworkers
- passing out then waking up to Mikee saying " can u drop me off at my car i left it around Weho" then Danga saying " wat?? u drove us here last night!" Mikee says " ooh shit i did??"
love it! now for round 2 Halloween AFterparty on friday so i can spend it with my two favorite people this time my Scubes & Mochi!
Yesterday was slightly hung over, tums & sprite were my bestfriends , ate Hooters with my sister, cousin and friend April in Hollywood, then went to the wax museum and the Guinness world record museum it was fun! then ate Korean BBq in Korea town, thanks for the bling bling boombox necklace ate!

| Entered the 3 on 3, Battlefield Jam where UGF and Viscious Germz exhibitioned. Entered with my girls Mae Day & Dvine. It was hella last minute that i asked them to battle with me and they were all down, Thursday Mae, Philthy & Jose flew into LB, sessioned a lil at the CSLA studio, Friday did a DARE assembly and had a dope ass session, i was landing my elbow airflares like nothing and made a set with them too, it was a dope vibe had a bgirl cypher. That night made our shirts with mae day while drinking Sangria with Jen and Kiko. It's hella cheaper to make your own shirts and fun too. Woke up and had Sushi with the Fam it was so gooooood.
Entered as Underground B-geez and ended up making it to the semi-finals!! we beat 2 all guy crews so it was hella fun, we just kept advancing, i was so sore from practicing the night before and we were there for soo long, but in teh end it was worth it, the exhibition battle was hype too seemed like Vicious Germz underestimated UGF, they both repped hard, sooo proud of my crew! Reinspired this weekend was the shit!
Cousins wedding in New Mexico was fun, saw them gut a pig and make lechon, drank with the cousins, family pictures, lots of food, it was nice
finished my grad admission essay, worked on it on and off for couple weeks! it ended up pretty damn good, no matter wat i'm proud of myself.
sister lives in the bay now, must visit her soon and go shopping.

| I flown out to Portland, Oregon for a Nike commercial shoot called How Do You Move: Women's Nike, it's suppose to air at Niketown in New York City, it was a great experience, a relaxing get away yet had to handle business. On the plane ride there Met Marisa a model/fitness girl who was also part of the Nike Commercial. She was hella tall next to me, she was like 5'10! she was cool, took a cab to the studio where we were introduced to many people and met the producer dude. The other girl came from NEw York her name was Erika, she's a model/fitness girl too. They made us try on clothes to see what looked best etc. Then he paid us $200 for the day, i guess it was the per diem. Got dropped off at my hotel which was called The Inn @ Northrup Station. Oregon is so green and clean, downtown is too clean! The hotel was soo cute! pretty girly, bright colors everywhere the center pieces for the lobby table was a vase full of starbursts and lollipops. When i opened the door to my room, i was amazed, i didnt' expect it to be so big, like a mini apartment! It was a suite! had a living room, stove, kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TVs, a balcony, king size bed i was like WEeeEeE this is awesome! The kitchen was stocked with wine glasses, pots pans, dishes etc. Got settled then called Marisa to get dinner. Went to this Sushi restaurant called Mio, not worth it, i'm a big sushi lover so i know what's good, they were stingy on the fish bleh, after that just chilled in my suite the rest of the night and watched TV.
Had to meet in the Lobby by 8:30 AM where one of the guys picked us up.Got to the studio and had to do lighting/camera stuff. Make up artist came and did my make up and hair. Signed papers etc. THere was a lot of dead time so just talked to ppl and watched TV. Talked to Erika about Clear agency, she's with them and she told me i should get with them. She said she doesn't get a lot of gigs cause she too tall. I was like huh? i thought the whole industry scene wants you to tall. She says shorter people are better cause u fit in the camera better, that was interesting to me, and she said if you look "ethnic" it's even better cause ppl can't tell what you are. Interesting again. So i'm gonna do my research and see if i like CLear agency. There are so many here LA so i have lots to pick from =)
I was the last girl to go on so i was getting so ansy, didn't go on until about 4:30. there was a fitness lady there who helped us stretch and made sure we didn't hurt ourselves. She was super cool and taught me a lot of useful stretches. Lunch was catered, had some salmon, salad, chicken kabob, pasta and garlic bread YUM.
Finally i went on, dressed in a white Kangol hat, blue earrings, Nike sports bra, with a Nike jacket, Nike pants, Nike socks and Nike electric blue shoes. The set was ALL white so my shoes stuck out. There was a white ghetto blaster radio on a white bench and white water bottles in the back ground. They wanted me to toprock dance most of the time and do scissorkicks and freezes, it was actually pretty fun even tho i had to do it like 10+ times. In between shots the assistant Shannon had to spray water on my chest to make it look like sweat, haha. i used the shoot as my training to freestyle, afterwards they chose their top 6 and let me say my input, since i was the "expert" as they called me. Afterwards Shannon told me that i could have whatever I was wearing, soo of course i took ALL of it, hell yea FREE NIKE GEAR! that's the best, sucked cause the 2 other girls didn't get shit!
chilled in my suite, ate out at a mexican restaurant with Marisa, had a Cadillac Margarita and got pretty darn buzzed, how weaksauce is that! Caught the plane the next morning and now i'm back in LB....feels sooo great to be back, felt like i was there for a week! so thankful and blessed to have been a part of it. =) waiting for my $1500 check yipee! Now it's back to training mode.
